What is Bi-directional communication?

Bi-directional communication allows to exchange data between two applications in both directions. It is an essential element for actionable user analytics and real-time access to business-critical data: user actions performed in an embedded dashboard flow directly to the core software product for further usage, or vice versa. For example, users apply filtering which is used to create a new target segment.
