What is a front-end framework?

A front-end framework is a platform to build the front-end of a website or application with packages of prewritten code, prebuilt site components like buttons, side panels, navigation bars, and defined font styles. It allows engineers to quickly develop responsive, user-driven features at scale. Well-known examples of front-end frameworks are Angular, React, ..
